There is no point in taking advice from someone who has no experience with whatever they are trying to sell you. On their time off, the members of River Sportsman staff are on the trails, along the riverbanks and out in their boats using and testing the store’s inventory. As a result, we are able to give solid advice about what we sell. Honesty is policy at River Sportsman. We’re not going to tell you the fishing is awesome when it’s slow, and we’re not going to sell you something we don’t have confidence in. We’ll tell you what we know. This is why we have a large following of customers who regularly ask for product reviews, area reports and our personal opinions. Our commitment to straight talk and our enthusiasm for living and playing here on North Vancouver Island is what sets us apart.
