Michael Van Deventer

Fishing has been Michaels focus since he was a kid. Growing up in the Cowichan Valley, there is not a bend of that river this man has not explored. This passion led Michael to work in the fishing world; whether it was his years guiding the Chilko River for monster rainbows and bull trout, or fishing steelhead across the island. Michael joins us at River Sportsman as a freshwater fishing fanatic who also knows a thing or two about catching some big fish in the chuck.
